ဆယ့္ရွစ္ရာစုက ေပၚခဲ့တဲ့ Jonathan Swift ရဲ့ Gulliver's Travels ဆိုတဲ့ ၀တၳဳဟာ ေက်ာ္ၾကား လူသိမ်ားပါတယ္။ ဆရာႀကီး ေမာင္ထင္ က `ဂါလီဗာ၏ ခရီးစဥ္´ ဆိုၿပီး ဘာသာျပန္ခဲ့တယ္ေလ။ ၀တၳဳထဲမွာ ကေမာက္ကမႏိုင္လွတဲ့လူေတြအေၾကာင္း သေရာ္ထားတာ အလြန္ပီျပင္လွပါတယ္။ အခု ႏွစ္ဆယ့္တစ္ရာစုမွာေတာ့ အလားတူ ၀တၳဳတပုဒ္ ေပၚလို႔ေနပါၿပီ။ နာမည္ကလည္း ခပ္ဆင္ဆင္ပါ။ Gambari's Travels ပါတဲ့။ `ဂမ္ဘာရီ၏ ခရီးစဥ္´ေပါ့။ သူသြားတဲ့ ႏိုင္ငံကေတာ့ ေရႊဗာရာ ျမန္မာဏသီ တိုင္းျပည္ႀကီးတဲ့ ခင္ဗ်။

ၾသဂုတ္လ ၁၈ ရက္ေန႔က ဂမ္ဘာရီ ေရႊျပည္ႀကီးကို ေရာက္ပါတယ္။ သက္ဆိုင္ရာတို႔က ဂမ္ဘာရီသည္ မည္သူမည္၀ါတို႔ႏွင့္ မည္သည့္ေနရာတြင္ ေတြ႔ေလသတည္း… လို႔ သတင္းေတြ ထုတ္ေပးပါတယ္။ သို႔ေသာ္လည္း ဟိုလူ ဒီလူ ဘယ္သူ ဘယ္၀ါေတြနဲ႔ ေတြ႔တယ္ပဲ ေျပာေျပာ၊ ထမင္းလက္ဆုံစားတယ္ ဆိုဆို ေဂါက္သီးပဲ အတူ႐ိုက္႐ိုက္၊ အဲဒါေတြကို ဘယ္သူကမွ စိတ္မ၀င္စားပါဘူး။ စိတ္၀င္စားတာက ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္နဲ႔ ေတြ႔သလား။ ေတြ႔ၿပီးေတာ့ ဘာေျပာသလဲ။ ဗိုလ္သန္းေရႊနဲ႔ ေတြ႔သလား။ သူကေကာ ဘာေျပာသလဲ။ အဲဒါေတြပါ။

ဒီလို ျဖစ္လာတဲ့အခါ ေရႊျပည္ေတာ္ႀကီးက ေမာင္မင္းႀကီးသားမ်ားက အခက္အခဲကို အလြယ္တကူပဲ ေျဖရွင္းလိုက္ပါတယ္။ ဘယ္လို ေျဖရွင္းသလဲ ဆိုေတာ့ ေဒၚစုအိမ္ေရွ႕ကေန `ဂမ္ဘာရီက ေတြ႔ခ်င္လို႔ပါ ခင္ဗ်ာ´ ဆိုၿပီး ေလာ္နဲ႔ ေအာ္ေခၚသတဲ့ေလ။ ၿပီးေတာ့ ဂမ္ဘာရီရဲ့ လက္ေထာက္ႏွစ္ေယာက္ကလည္း အိမ္ေရွ႕မွာ ရစ္၀ဲရစ္၀ဲ ေစာင့္ေနၾကသတဲ့။

နယူးေဒလီ။ ။ စကၤာပူ အစိုးရသည္ အေၾကာင္းတစံုတရာ မျပဘဲ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံသား ၆ ဦး၏ ဗီဇာသက္တမ္း တိုးေပးရန္ ေလွ်ာက္ထားမႈကို ျငင္းပယ္လိုက္သည့္အတြက္ ၃ ဦးမွာ ဂ်ဴလိုင္လကတည္းက တိုင္းျပည္မွ ထြက္ခြါသြားခဲ့ရၿပီ ျဖစ္သည္ ဟု သူတို႔ကိုယ္ သူတို႔ ျမန္မာမ်ဳိးခ်စ္မ်ားဟု ေခၚေဝၚသည့္ ျမန္မာ့အေရး တက္ႂကြ လႈပ္ရွားသူမ်ားက ေသာၾကာေန႔ က ေျပာၾကားလိုက္ၾကပါသည္။

အဆိုပါ တက္ႂကြ လႈပ္ရွားသူမ်ားက ေသာၾကာေန႔က သတင္းစာ ရွင္းလင္းပြဲတရပ္ က်င္းပၿပီး လူဝင္မႈႀကီးၾကပ္ေရးႏွင့္ နယ္စပ္ျဖတ္ေက်ာ္ စစ္ေဆးေရး အာဏာပိုင္အဖြဲ႔ (ICA) ႏွင့္ လူအင္အား ဝန္ႀကီးဌာနတို႔က အဆိုပါ ဗီဇာသက္တမ္း တိုးျမႇင့္မႈကို အဘယ္ေၾကာင့္ ျငင္းပယ္ရသည္ဆိုသည့္ အေၾကာင္းရင္းကို ထုတ္ေဖၚ ေျပာဆိုပါရန္ စကၤာပူအစိုးရကို ေတာင္းဆိုလိုက္ၾကသည္။

“ဤျမန္မာမ်ဳိးခ်စ္ ၆ ဦးသည္ စကၤာပူ တရားဥပေဒကို ဆန္႔က်င္ၿပီး ရာဇဝတ္မႈ က်ဴးလြန္ခဲ့သည္ဆိုသည့္ အေထာက္အထားလဲ ဘာမွမရွိပါ” ဟု ျမန္မာမ်ဳိးခ်စ္မ်ား၏ ေၾကညာခ်က္တြင္ ေဖၚျပထားသည္။

သတင္းစာ ရွင္းလင္းပြဲကို ဦးေဆာင္ က်င္းပခဲ့သူ ကိုမ်ဳိးျမင့္ေမာင္က ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံသားမ်ား ဗီဇာသက္တမ္း တိုးျမႇင့္ေပးရန္ ေလွ်ာက္ထားမႈကို ျငင္းပယ္ခဲ့ျခင္းႏွင့္ ပတ္သက္၍ အေၾကာင္းျပခ်က္ ေပးပါရန္ သူတို႔ စကၤာပူအစိုးရကို ေတာင္းဆိုထားသည္ဟု ေျပာသြားပါသည္။

“ဘာအေၾကာင္းျပခ်က္မွ ေရေရာရာရာ မေပးဘဲ ဗီဇာသက္တမ္း တိုးေပးဘို႔ ျငင္းတာ ဒါပထမဆံုးအႀကိမ္ဘဲ” ဟုသူက ဆိုပါသည္။

အလားတူ ျပႆနာမ်ားႏွင့္ ၾကံဳေတြ႔ေနရသည့္ အျခား ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံသား အမ်ားအျပား ရွိႏိုင္ေသာ္လည္း သူတုိ႔သိသည္မွာ ဤ ၆ ဦးသာျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း၊ ျမန္မာ့ ဒီမိုကေရစီေရးကို ေထာက္ခံသည့္ ဆႏၵျပပြဲမ်ားတြင္ ပါဝင္ခဲ့မႈႏွင့္ စပ္လ်ဥ္း၍ ရဲစခန္း တြင္ စစ္ေဆးေမးျမန္းျခင္းကို သူတို႔ ခံခဲ့ၾကရေၾကာင္းလည္း သူက ဆက္လက္ ေျပာဆိုသြားခဲ့ပါသည္။

အဆိုပါ ဗီဇာသက္တမ္း တိုးေပးရန္ ေလွ်ာက္ထားမႈကို ျငင္းပယ္ခံခဲ့ရသူ ၆ ဦး အနက္ ၃ ဦးမွာ ေမာင္စိုးသီဟ၊ ကိုမ်ဳိးထြန္း ႏွင့္ ကိုလိႈင္မိုးတုိ႔ ျဖစ္ၿပီး သူတို႔သည္ ဂ်ဴလိုင္လကုန္ႏွင့္ ၾသဂုတ္လအေစာပိုင္းက စကၤာပူႏိုင္ငံတြင္းမွ ထြက္ခြါသြားခဲ့ၾကရသည္ဟု ဆိုပါသည္။

ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံသား ၆ ဦး ဗီဇာသက္တမ္း တိုးျမႇင့္ရန္ ေလွ်ာက္ထားခဲ့ျခင္းကို အဘယ္ေၾကာင့္ ျငင္းပယ္ခံခဲ့ရသည္ ဆိုသည့္ အေၾကာင္းအခ်က္ကို ရွင္းရွင္းလင္းလင္း မသိရေသးေသာ္လည္း စကၤာပူအစိုးရ၏ ျမန္မာစစ္အစိုးရႏွင့္ နီးနီးကပ္ကပ္ ဆက္ဆံေနျခင္းႏွင့္ ႀကီးႀကီးမားမား ပတ္သက္ေနဖြယ္ ရွိသည္ဟု တက္ႂကြလႈပ္ရွားသူမ်ားက ယံုၾကည္ေနၾကသည္။

စကၤာပူ လူအင္အားဝန္ႀကီးဌာနကို မဇၩိမက ဆက္သြယ္ေမးျမန္းရာတြင္ ဤကိစၥႏွင့္ စပ္လ်ဥ္း၍ တစံုတရာ မွတ္ခ်က္ေပးရန္ ျငင္းဆိုသြားၿပီး လူဝင္မႈ ႀကီးၾကပ္ေရးႏွင့္ နယ္စပ္ျဖတ္ေက်ာ္ စစ္ေဆးေရး အာဏာပိုင္အဖြဲ႔ (ICA) ကိုသာ ေမးျမန္းပါ ရန္ ညႊန္းဆိုေျပာၾကားသြားခဲ့သည္။

Singapore shows Burmese dissidents the door

Led by Singapore's George Yeo, Asean foreign ministers last September "expressed their revulsion to Myanmar Foreign Minister Nyan Win over reports that the demonstrations in Myanmar [were] being suppressed by violent force", and called on the military junta there to "work towards a peaceful transition to democracy."

Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong had spoken "to his ASEAN counterparts... and [would] be writing to Senior General Than Shwe," the joint Asean statement said [1]. During that period, Singapore was the rotating chair of Asean, and people thought this unusually strong statement was a hopeful sign of where Singapore stood. But was this government, always so boastful of its "integrity", being sincere?

After handing over the chair of Asean to Thailand last month, Singapore appears to have reverted to its true nature -– and mindless of our international reputation too -– which is to punish anyone who had organised and spoken out against a fellow authoritarian government.

Their core philosophy seems to be: "Autocrats of the world, unite!"

Six Burmese have been thrown out of Singapore in the last month or so when their residency passes were denied renewals. While the immigration office has not provided any explanation for any of these cases -- and the silence itself can be read as sinister -– "they had some commonalities", said Myo Myint Maung at a press conference on 22 August.

All six have had their personal particulars recorded by the police at one or more events organised by the expatriate Burmese community since last September, and each of them have, at least once, been summoned to Tanglin Police Station for investigation.

The Burmese in Singapore have organised "more than dozen" events in the last few months, from the march along Orchard and Tanglin Roads during the Asean summit held in Singapore last November, to petition signing against the sham referendum, to prayer vigils for those slain in the streets of Rangoon, said Myo. All have been peaceful, but they have also been a reflection of the deep anger felt by Burmese over the vileness of the military regime.
Paid for his education, then threw him out

One of the six persons our government threw out had in fact been bonded to work for Singapore-registered companies for 3 years, a condition of a tuition grant given by the Ministry of Education. Maung Soe Thiha had been looking forward to start work when he graduated from the National University of Singapore this year.

His student pass expiring upon graduation, he applied for a Long Term Social Visit Pass, to look for a job. This should be routine, and "normally, people on Long term Social Visit Passes can stay for 6 months or more to seek employment," said Myo. But in Soe Thiha's case, the government rejected his application altogether, giving no reason for its decision.

Simultaneous with these events, the young man's job search had just about found success. Hai Yong Engineering was prepared to give him his first job and the company promptly filed an electronic application for an Employment Pass for him. Without any visa at all, however, Soe Thiha had to leave Singapore. Hai Yong's application for an Employment Pass for him is still in limbo three weeks later.

He is now languishing in Cambodia living on his savings.

Employer wants him, but government says Go!

Another equally ridiculous case is that of Hlaing Moe. He had been working as a Technical Supervisor with Sankyu (Singapore) Pte Ltd since July 2006 on an S Pass, which is the residency document for skilled foreigners. He applied for a renewal of his S Pass in July this year (his company was willing to continue employing him) but this application was also rejected without any explanation.

He therefore could only continue staying for a short while more under a Social Visit Pass (i.e. a tourist pass).

Hlaing Moe was also a part-time student at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, studying for a Diploma in Technology (Mechanical) with exams on 14 – 24 August 2008. He appealed for an extension of his Social Visit Pass to enable him to complete his exams, but this appeal was rejected, also without any reason.

He is now languishing in Malaysia.

Singapore still trying to "recruit" talent

Not in the Press Statement is the case of Thu Yein Win (right). He was at the press conference to share with the public his experience over his application for Permanent Residency (PR).

Thu Yein Win has been working in Singapore for over a year (but less than 2 years) as an Assistant Engineer with a private company. He is also on the executive committee of the Overseas Burmese Patriots in Singapore (OBP).

In April this year, he applied for Permanent Residency, following which he was asked to attend an interview at the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) in June.

To his surprise, there was virtually nothing in the two-and-a-half hour interview relating to his application for PR status, nothing on his qualifications or the documents that he had submitted. Instead, the 2 officers present focussed exclusively on his Burmese patriotic activities.

"They asked me: 'Who is the leader of the OBP? How many members do you have? Who are they? What are their names? Where do you usually gather for meetings?' And they also asked about my close friends."

At one point, they asked him if he would inform them in advance of any activities by the OBP. It's not clear (to me at least) what answer he gave them, but the more important point, as you can see, is what our government agents are up to.

Thu Yein Win had in March this year helped organise a petition against the junta's referendum on their extremely undemocratic new constitution. While doing so, his particulars were recorded by some officers, and he was subsequently summoned to a police station for investigations.

Cold heart

Hlaing Moe was not even allowed to stay on for 2 more weeks to finish his exams. Were our bureaucrats just plain unfeeling? Were they merely being robotic?

Or were they deliberately being cruel?

The number of Burmese whose particulars have been recorded by the police for participating in various activities is unknown. "Perhaps 50," was Myo Myint Maung's best guess. But going by these examples, all of them may well be expecting the worst.

It's not easy to find another country to take them. Do they have to return to Burma? Chasing them out of Singapore "may put them into physical danger of the violence that the Singapore government condemned [last year]," said Myo Myint Maung.

Myo was careful to stress that he was not calling these cases deportations. He pointed out that strictly speaking, each case was one of a non-renewal of residency papers. He concedes that such decisions are up to the Singapore government; as foreigners they cannot demand the right to stay. The intent of the press conference was to raise awareness of this trend and ask the Singapore government for reasons for the non-renewals.

He was being diplomatic.

Yawning Bread is a citizen of Singapore. I don't have to be diplomatic. Let me be blunt: For all practical purposes, these are deportations. By putting their lives at risk, the Singapore government is as callous as the junta when they blocked foreign aid to Cyclone Nargis victims. By penalising anyone who has spoken out against generals, the Singapore government is aiding and abetting those generals in their continuing crime against humanity.

Not only is this deportation policy morally wrong -- shockingly, revoltingly wrong -- but from a self-interest perspective, it is unbelievably stupid.

Do we think the military regime will last forever? Impossible. One day, it will fall and these young men and women whom we antagonise today will quite possibly be part of the new government. How can it serve Singapore's interest to be on the wrong side of history?

What fools we have for a government.

I have questions

Why is the United Nations Organization existed in the world?

Is there any problem that has actually been sorted by UN?

Burma, Tibet, Iraq War, Sudan Darfur, ... Now Georgia?

If there is no mistake, there are multi-million us dollars has been used to run UN organization in every month. Does it worth to use such large amount of money? Shouldn't we use this money for global warming effect instead of UN to run itself?

Why should we spend Mr Gambari air tickets to Burma for such a worthless trip, Shouldn't we use this money for cyclone victims in Burma or use one year education for orphan child?

There is a saying ..
If you are not a part of solution, then you are a part of Problem.

It was started from very remote village located in unfertile land at dry and drought area of central Burma (Myanmar). Place was called Well-Long village in Taung-Thar township and most of the inhabitants there are struggling farmers and some people unable to survive were moved to work in greener pastures land as immigrant laborers. Even now a day Burma (Myanmar) still can see the populations of domestic housemaid were mostly from that area as chances to survive in above said land is very much minimal. But today Burmese will have a chance to see the next President of Burma (Myanmar) from that Well-Long village as son of the Well-Long was constructing the clandestine plan to reach the highest level of the country in very near future.

U Aung Thaung was born in Well-Long village and served in the army till he get the rank of colonel then became the chairman of Magway Division Law and Order Restoration Council. His immediate boss at that time was Lt. General Tun Kyi of Central Division Area Commander. When Lt. General Tun Kyi became the Minister for Ministry of Trade, U Aung Thaung became the Deputy Minister. That was the time for him to start building his own Road Map to reach higher position. His son Nay Aung started to do the business with full influence of his father. Selling rice to Africa and Nay Aung act as middle man for smooth transaction .He was getting rich from that and U Aung Thaung started to know the taste of rich and influential. He was very wicked and betrays his master by giving information about Lt. General Tun Kyi’s corruptions to Senior General Than Shwe.

Senior-General Than Shwe did believe U Aung Thaung’s story and fired Lt. General Tun Kyi. U Aung Thaung expected to become the Minister of Trade as he saw many opportunities to benefits within the same ministry but he was rewarded as the Minister in the Ministry of Industry (1), in which, he makes his family to the top billionaire in the world later. His son leads the family business and build up the Aung Yee Phyo Company. It’s make millions of US$ per year in way of performing legal and illegal business.

U Aung Thaung still not satisfies and is trying to become a billionaire and powerful person in the country as well thus he tries to find the way and guide one of his son to be married with Nandar Aye, who is the daughter of country’s number two Vice-Senior General Maung Aye [ Vice Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief ( Army ) ]. Nandar Aye herself owns the company in the name of “Queen Star”, which import computers, its accessories and electronic appliances.

The most interesting point of how U Aung Thaung is trying to become rich and powerful guy in the country is his successful plan to get related with Vice-Senior General Maung Aye, is a chairman of Trade Council and most influential for procuring all machineries, equipments and spare-parts required for all 32 ministries in the government. U Aung Thaung family and “Aung Yee Phyo” Company are the most privilege and beneficial as they had been build up the empire to monopolize the country’s business as their own. Aung Yee Phyo Company is doing all tricky things while it procure all second hand tools and spare-parts to be imported but the agreements for the official business mention these are said to be genuine. No one at the ports, airports or whatsoever the entry points and check points into the country dare to check. They are really above the law. The worst thing is that they don’t declare anything as they don’t need to pay taxes, which might be for the government budget.

Another benefit comes from the signature bonus from all suppliers and contractors for concerning Ministries. All these go into the foreign account for his family in the name of the company. The Aung Yee Phyo Company tried to stay themselves in low profile abroad by changing the company name to “IGE”, which is registered in Singapore. It was learnt from the recent sanction, which effecting the closure of the Bank account after the Monks uprising in September, the U Aung Thaung family got the news ahead of the action went into place so they withdraw all money in cash and brought back into the country. Because of that the exchange rate of US$ went down abruptly about 150kyats per dollar within 10 days.

They bought the big mansion on the Inya lake water front and entrance can make from Pyay road next to Phi-Lin Thai restaurant. It cost 4 million US$ and was cleared within a week. They keep on buying as they have a lot of US$ in hand.

There are many factories (new and renovated) under the Ministry of Industry (1) are being supported by China business groups in many different way. U Aung Thaung is always trying to find the cheap parts which actually mentioned as brand new ones in the document. In a way that they are doing the benefit most. They get commission and bonus in the percentage which is calculated with the price of brand new. The sufferers are the Ministry and country. Most Ministries and departments have no right to decline for the parts and equipments which all break down easily as they are bad in quality. Among many example, paper pulp mill in Tha-baung, Ayeyarwaddy Division, stopped rapidly. But all bamboo forest disappeared around that area. All wastes products sneaking down from the factory has destroyed the all marine lives and harms the people. Villagers are suffering a lot. There are altogether 50 factories in different sizes under the Ministry of Industry (1). All are in big debt.

China involvement with Junta is intrigued. In fact the China is not in the position for the absolute support but that is good cover story for rather to avoid the big lost of money and investment which are now turn to bad loan and debt of no repayment. China afraid of those debts not pays back to them if in case new government is elected.

Actually, Htoo Trading, Air Bagan and U Tay Za are getting famous and popular in this country and abroad but his business empire is just a peanut if compare with U Aung Thaung family’s own in every sectors such as in capital, asset, investment, involvement and long term plan. Recent hardship for Air Bagan is probably good news for U Aung Thaung family as one of their competitor’s downfall.

U Aung Thaung is among the most favoured by S.G Than Shwe and key person in USDA (Union Solidarity and Development Association) as he had been building his strong hold in there. He has much more resources of his looted money from state to use for organizing the activities such as donations, charities and whatsoever to build up the trust of Than Shwe and clandestinely forming his own group. All his looting from state was used again to take over of the ultimate and absolute power to rule the country. That is in Burmese proverb saying “Fry the carp fish with its own fat”.

U Aung Thaung is a most responsible culprit of De-pe-yin conspiracy. They actually planned to murder all including Daw Aung San Suu Kyi but she was merely escape from the hands of USDA (Union Solidarity and Development Association) criminals by a chance of luck. Wonderful thing is that U Aung Thaung can keep away of his involvement from public and only pathetic now deceased General Soe Win became a scapegoat. That is obvious of how the future president hopeful is smartly preserve his reputation but get full blessing of his superior for doing notorious thing.

U Aung Thaung is playing around with China, Than Shwe, USDA( Union Solidarity and Development Association ) and the whole cabinet as look like they all are dancing with the music of whatever U Aung Thaung is playing without noticing they of become as clowns.

The crackdown of Monks Demonstration also was handled by U Aung Thaung single-handedly and political analysis strongly believe that the unnecessary handling of violent attack to cull down the Reverend Monks was deliberately done to discredit the Senior General Than Shwe and thus to lower his reputation and dignity to the lowest level. Don’t forget that Burmese are the very religious Buddhist. We can imagine the shrewdness of U Aung Thaung and motive behind the real scene. From that we can clearly see the Senior General Than Shwe’s stupidity too.

Ever since U Aung Thaung building his empire for almost a decade passed and now is a right time for him as he get all the wealth and political power in hand. He is got the most important ally in military as Vice-Senior General Maung Aye already became his relative and only the final step remain for him is to take over the position of what is now in the hand of Senior General Than Shwe .In this situation, Senior General Than Shwe has not much choice but to wait for the day of take-over from U Aung Thaung Dynasty and pray for the mercy if U Aung Thaung Dynasty grant for him.
