The eyes of people all over the world look at Burma right now. Thank you for your brave and good luck! I wish i can do anything more than just speaking about it.
I am from poland, and I know about Myanmar situation from the front page of the biggest polish newspaper! If only western goverments would try as hard as journalists Myanmar may be free and democratic country right now.
I am from the United States and pray that these brave monks will be the source of a new democratic Burma. I pray each day for these good people of that wonderful country. My thanks to and admiration of the courage of these bloggers who bring us the true face of the government and the heroic actions of the monks and people!
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Your courage is outstanding both on the steets and in getting news of what is happening in your country to the wider world. I hope our democratically elected leaders have the courage to support you and not just mouth empty platitudes.
Have you and the monks tried addressing soldiers through a loudhailer? At least the soldiers are Burmese and Buddhist even if they are brainwashed, and you might appeal their conscience as Burmese and Buddhists. In similar demos of "people's power" in Asia- Philipinnes, Thailand most recently- talking directly and repeatedly to troops with a simple message that appeals to their human conscience can have significant results- at least it is hoped they will refuse orders to shoot when, inevitably, they come from frightened and cowardly military generals.
...SOLDARITY from Germany and Attac you make a very good Job...for your Future... the press in germany is full...and your blog stand in the greatest journal here.."Spiegel" on moment is dalai lama in germany.. think on you and wish you power... "the Way is the Finish"
I am watching the bravery and passion of the Monks and people of Burma with admiration and prayers of a better future. Thank you to all the courageous people that make this blog possible. From San Diego, I send my prayers, love, and support to those people standing up for freedom in Burma.
All of the ASEAN People are behind you. Our governments may not be able to do much because of the ASEAN agreement not to meddle with the internal affairs of member countries, but the People, the ASEAN Citizens are all behind you.
Keep up the good peaceful fight, do not lose hope. The world will know what the Military Regime is doing!!
I am so sorry for what is happening to your beautiful country. And now blood is spilt on your streets.
I am so sorry that our useless politicians are doing nothing to help your people and your plight. George Bush talks about 'sanctions'. The UN urges your government to be 'restrained' What good is that???
I wish we could all do more than just talk about it.
Meanwhile our thoughts are with you, even though I realise it is not enough

I am from the United States, and am in awe over the bravery of the people of Burma. It is my goal to try and get as many people as possible to learn about the situation and unbelieveable courage of the monks and citizens in Burma, and hopefully be able to raise awareness all over my country and the world. My prayers go out to all the people in Burma.
