following up

Sorry for my last post, it is now I found out, it was not related with recent protest in Burma (that event actually happened in burma, and their family are seeking for justice. The victims' family had been ignored by local police and authorities) , I will follow up the news about the pictures, that I have posted it earlier.

I changed my MySpace picture. This might be another method you could suggest to your readers to show support.

Ko Htike

We are all still following events, and want the people of Burma to know; we are doing what we can to keep the issue raised with our government, the UN and the press.

The Burma Campaign UK and Avaaz.org are getting the message out to the masses. We are starting to see some UK companies put ethics above trading partners. A small token I'm sure, but at least it's a start. People around the world CAN and MUST make a difference.

Love and peace.

Hundreds of blogs in Spain are giving you support in your resistance against this disgusting dictatorial government and his brutality.

We are with you!!

Free Burma.

ko-htike,

I called the UN office in Geneva when it was stated that citizens' alms were being refused by the military at keikasan and that the UNHCR refused to help. Apparently, the head of South East Asia was not aware of your blog, specifically and so I passed it on to him. That was all I could do for now. It seems to have gotten a response from Louise Arbour.

I know things will change for the better. I agree with Italy post.

“ When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they seem invincible but in the end, they always fall -- think of it, ALWAYS.”

True. They ALWAYS fall.
The problem is that often new ones rise up to take their place. The history of humankind is the history of never ending oppression. Man dominating over man. Should it remain so forever? Or will humankind wake up someday and stop fighting among themselves?

ko htike,

I subscribe to your blog's feed. I read most of the feeds I subscribe to at work. Would you please label posts with gruesome and gory images as NSFW (not safe for work). I am in no way advocating censorship. I just like to save posts that are NSFW for when I get home. Also, thanks for removing fakes and maintaining a good blog.
