Meeting in the Kyantaw old Cemetery for UN Secretary-General H.E.Mr.Ban Ki-Moon
As usual, United Nation Secretary-General H.E. Mr. Ban Ki-Moon second trip to Burma was play out again by Burmese Junta as all Mr. Ban’s hopes were sunk into Junta’s tricks, shameless lies and further more and worst of all, was attacked by superstitious and Satanic heresy practice. Mr. Ban Ki-Moon was attacked by occult mean to cause misfortune to him.
Most of all Burmese generals are in believe that cemetery, old cemetery or any place of relating dead are of bad luck and misfortune to them. They avoid that place for doing something other than attending funeral. Junta leader Than Shwe never visit and pay homage to National Martyrs Mausoleum not only because he has no clear conscience in front of the tomb of National Hero and Arm-Forces Founder General Aung San (father of Aung San Su Kyi) but also afraid of misfortune will come to him.
When UN Secretary-General Mr. Ban Ki-Moon requesting for convening the meeting with his UN staff and Diplomatic Corps for explaining of his trip in the country, authority not allowed him to do as requested in convenience and regular venues such as Sedona Hotel, where Mr. Ban Ki-Moon is staying or Trader’s Hotel, where most of the UN Offices are residing but give him a permission to do so in Drugs Museum Hall which is not a place for such kind of event. That Museum was built in the area of old cemetery in Kyantaw, which was only closed down at end of 1997. When Mr. Ban Ki-Moon came to enter that meeting place, authority tried to let him in, not from main gate but from side door. A lot of arguments to be going on for opening of the main gate as that is a technique always practice by Junta to disturb someone they are not happy with.
Motive of ushering Mr. Ban Ki-Moon from side door is to show Diplomatic and media Corps that they are commanding UN Secretary General to follow their arrangement. But smart aides of Mr. Ban Ki-Moon strongly protest and given ultimatum of cancel the program if not allow to enter from main door. That is the end of struggle and generals gave in.
What all generals are satisfied from above pre-arranged conspiracy is that since Mr. Ban Ki-Moon’s own conference was held in cemetery, he (UN) will never be in success of conducting any activities in Burma. If he entered cemetery from side door means he (UN) will never be in main but sideline person/Org. That is what all half crack Generals believed.
We, Burmese people really appreciate what was tried to achieve by Mr. Ban Ki-Moon. We have no doubt about his intention and people of Burma are expecting to see the progress but we all are very disappointed and shame for what Junta was done to Mr. Ban Ki-Moon.
Some remarkable incident was occurred when Mr. Ban Ki-Moon was in Nay-Pyi-Taw. Authority arranges some entertainment program for Mr. Ban Ki-Moon and proudly informs him of what is in the program. Mr. Ban Ki-Moon bitterly refused to accept and retorted that he is not come here to enjoy the entertainment but to work for Burma.
Departing Burma and immediately after disembarking from aircraft in Bangkok, Mr. Ban Ki-Moon talk to reporters in waiting before starting formal press conference that during his two meeting with Senior General Than Shwe, most repeated promise he ever listen from him was that Junta will transfer the administrative power to civilian in 2010, then Mr. Ban Ki-Moon pause, smile and talk that if he has a chance to see Senior General Than Shwe again in 2010, then he believes to see S.G. Than Shwe as a civilian.
We, all Burmese applaud and tribute the smart act of Mr. Ban Ki-Moon, who return the good lesson to uneducated Generals. Anyway, we all Burmese people, enthusiastically respecting of Human Right and Democracy, are overwhelmingly supporting Mr. Ban Ki-Moon for his Burma Achievement.
